In 1918, a group of young artists, striving to give the Groningen art life a whirl, established “De Ploeg”. It was destined to become one of the most famous and influential artists’ collectives in the north of the Netherlands.
In 2018, 100 years later, we are going to explore their legacy. We will start with the guided tour of the collection of GRID Graphic Museum and continue with the exhibition at Groningen Museum one week later. On both days, you will have a chance to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee before the tour (we will meet at Doppio Espresso Folkingestraat for this one), as well as spend more time at the museum after the tour. You can sign up for both events (and get a discount) or choose only one of them.
Fee: €2+admission fee. Admission is free upon presentation of a University Card, a Dutch Museum Card, an ICOM Card or a Rembrandt Pass. Otherwise, we will ask you to transfer us additional €15, so that we could purchase the ticket for you beforehands. If you have registered and paid for the first part of De Ploeg series at GRID museum, you will also get a €2 discount on this tour.
