It’s nearly December and that means it’s nearly Christmas time! The days are getting colder and cities and street are nicely decorated for the cozy holidays.
We in Groningen have the Martini Tower, Germany has Christmas Markets !
And what’s very nice for you, Gopher is organizing a trip to the Christmas Market in Bremen, one of Germany’s finest ! Enjoying the Christmas lights while walking from stall to stall, admiring the Roland and the Church of Our Lady or buying small presents for your loved ones, here are some fun activities to do during the day !
So join us on Saturday 8 December on our yearly Christmas market trip.
We will go by bus to Bremen and after enjoying the food and the market (and a little detour by the bar), we will bring you back in the evening, safe, sound and happy of course.
The bus will leave at 10h30 at the flixbus-stop (in front of the canal tour boats, next to museum bridge) and will arrive in Bremen around 13h. Then you will have free time to explore the Christmas market and the city.
There are 2 Christmas markets, one in the city centre, the other next to the river. Around 17h, we will gather in a bar (which will soon be revealed). And then the bus will pick us up at 18h30 to go back to Groningen, in which we will arrive around 21h at the Central Station.
Price: Early bird (until 23 November): €15 for PhD students, €20 for non-PhD Students
