It is certainly possible to ask someone else to take care of your dissertation design. However, in case you want to embrace your artistic side and give the design a try yourself, you may be interested in this InDesign workshop organized by Gildeprint and Gopher!

An expert from Gildeprint will walk you through the process of how to create the layout of your dissertation with Adobe InDesign. This software offers a wide variety of options that will allow you to make your thesis look more professional. The workshop will take place in computer room Hv.0307 at the Heymans building (Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences), so you can immediately try your newly acquired design skills out!

Please be noted that we will not be able to provide lunch, since we are in a computer room. For that reason, there will also be limited seats available!

This event is free of charge, but registration is required. All PhD students are welcome, but this workshop will be of most use for PhD students who are in their 3rd of 4th year.

Cancellation policy and reimbursement of participation fee

If you are unable to attend an event (paid or free) you have signed up for, please notify the Gopher board beforehand.

Unless otherwise indicated, canceling your registration and reimbursing your paid participation fee can be done until 24 hours before the start of the event. Please make sure you read carefully the registration/cancellation procedures in the confirmation email for each event sent by us.
