Music is soooooo cool and doing it is even cooler : the crowd in a frenzy, people throwing themselves at you, fame and money ! (But that’s not why we want to do it, right ?) But learning is hard and you don’t know where to start. Once again, Gopher comes to your rescue !

Do you want to start learning guitar, bass or drums ? Or did you just started and like to get some guidance on how to progress ?  

Come and learn more about all of this wonderful instruments !! Our teacher, Alex Dobrescu, is going to describe each instrument and their particularities. Following that, he will give a short introduction on music vocabulary. Then we’ll talk about what you need to start, how do you progress, how and where to practice, does it ever stop and if you really need a teacher or just online lessons. 

Of course, you’ll have the possibility to fiddle a bit with the instruments !

Fee : 2€ for PhD, 5€ for non-PhD

Cancellation and reimbursement of participation fee

If you are unable to attend an event (paid or free) you have signed up for, please notify the Gopher board beforehand.

Unless otherwise indicated, canceling your registration and reimbursing your paid participation fee can be done until 24 hours before the start of the event, unless otherwise indicated. Please make sure you read carefully the registration/cancellation procedures in the confirmation email for each event sent by us.
