Do you sometimes feel like you are on the verge of a break-down? Are you having trouble concentrating and do you have ‘To-Do-Lists’ everywhere, because you are getting more forgetful? Do you sometimes feel that you don’t have time to relax or see friends? In that case, it might be a good idea to do this workshop in burnout prevention. You will get information about stress-related symptoms and learn what is a normal part of life and when it becomes alarming. You will also do a self-assessment on burn-out. And this workshop will give you the tools to find balance in your life and to strengthen your resilience.
This workshop will be provided by the recently appointed RUG PhD Psychologist, Karen Huizing (for more information - see https://student.portal.rug.nl/infonet/studenten/voorzieningen/studenten-service-centrum/workshops-courses-training/phd-support). In collaboration with her, Gopher will organize a series of workshops in our #HappyHealthyPhDLife series. Keep an eye on our website and follow our social media outlets for more information!
Location: room 3111.0217, UMCG
