In light of the current developments, we sadly needed to cancel our bigger in person events. However, because we want you to meet each other and have a merry evening still - we decided to organize a hybrid Christmas event! We are all sick of online borrels, so we will randomly pair you guys up and make it a fun and festive Christmas event! This is the plan:

Before the event: Organisation. We assign you in groups of four people. Get in touch. One person will need to host the other three. If you want to eat something, you’ll need to organize that yourself.

17.00-18.00: Collect your goody bags! Yay! You will get ingredients to make your very first own Glühwein, and a couple of other christmassy surprises. Then you will go to your host.

18.30: Short online introduction. We will shortly meet online, explain everything and welcome you.

19.00: Glühwein time! We will give you some time to prepare and drink Glühwein and to get to know each other. We will turn off the mics and just let you enjoy the time with your new friends.

20.00: Talk about your Glühwein experiences. Back online, we’d like to know everything about your experiences. 

20.15-21.00: Christmas themed pubquiz. We will make a fun pubquiz, you wouldn’t even know how much there is to know about Christmas!

21.15-21.30: Announcement of winners. Very exciting prices!

21.30-open end: Enjoy your evening! We go offline and let you decide how you’d like to continue the evening. 

You can register until the 11th of December! Because we would like to give you a Christmas present, we keep this event free. However, make sure that you show up, because we will organize everything for you! And don’t forget to self-test before! :)

If you have any objections to that, please notify the board beforehand.

Cancellation policy and reimbursement of participation fee

If you are unable to attend an event (paid or free) you have signed up for, please notify the Gopher board beforehand.

Unless otherwise indicated, canceling your registration and reimbursing your paid participation fee can be done until 24 hours before the start of the event. Please make sure you read carefully the registration/cancellation procedures in the confirmation email for each event sent by us.
