Indian Cooking Workshop

Let’s cook together and fall in love with Rajma Chawal

Although red beans and brown beans originated in Mexico, when the beans reached India they became ‘Rajma’, one of the most loved Indian curries. The first known recipe of rajma dates more than 400 years back in history when the Portuguese introduced these beans in India for the first time. Enjoyed best with rice, Rajma Chawal is a completely vegetarian dish, full of protein and vitamins.

In this workshop, we will provide you with a list of ingredients to buy. We will send you the spices for the dish via post. On the day itself, we meet online and cook together. It will result in 3-4 portions, so either invite a friend, prepare for the next day(s), or just eat a lot.

Registration fee: 3€ for PhDs, 5€ for non-PhDs
