#AsteroidDay takes place annually on June 30. It is a global awareness campaign where people from around the world come together to learn about asteroids, the impact hazard they may pose, and what we can do to protect our planet, families, communities, and future generations from future asteroid impacts. 

This year Groningen joins the celebration of the International Asteroid Day. GOPHER and Kapteyn Astronomical Institute invite you to join the Pub Quiz to learn more about science, art and funny facts about asteroids! Also, you will have chance to see the Gran Chaco meteorite!

We will play in teams of up to 4 people. No special education is needed, the quiz will be amusing for everyone! The winning team will get free tickets for one DOT show of their choice.
