Have you heard of German Christmas markets? Germany is well known for its Christmas market culture and in Oldenburg (just next to the border), there is an especially old, traditional, and beautiful one. Join us on a day trip, where we take a bus over the border and explore the Christmas market together. The German hosts prepared some facts about the Christmas market to tell you on the bus, will show you the culture around playing little riddles, listening to choirs singing Christmas songs, eating chocolate fruit, caramelized nuts and of course - drinking loads of Glühwein! The first one is on us ;)

Participation fee is just 20 Euro per person!

Be aware that going to Germany and this specific region has a 2G corona policy, which means you need to be either vaccinated or recovered from Corona! The QR code is a must for crossing the border without needing to quarantine and also for entering the Christmas market!

At this moment, both the Dutch and German restrictions allow us to go to Oldenburg. If the Corona restrictions are prohibiting us from crossing the border, we will organize an online DIY-Glühwein workshop!

Cancellation policy and reimbursement of participation fee

If you are unable to attend an event (paid or free) you have signed up for, please notify the Gopher board beforehand.

Unless otherwise indicated, canceling your registration and reimbursing your paid participation fee can be done until 24 hours before the start of the event. Please make sure you read carefully the registration/cancellation procedures in the confirmation email for each event sent by us.
