Gopher is organising another exciting cooking workshop, this time we will try a simple but very tasty dish from the Greek cuisine.
One of our board members, Maria, will show us how to make one of her favourite dishes: Spanakopitakia, which are small pies filled with spinach, many herbs and feta.
Pies are very popular in Greece and can be found in different shapes, sizes and with various fillings. Join us and learn how to prepare tasty small spinach pies.
The ingredients are:
20 sheets of triangular pastry leaves (you can find it in Nazar)
500 g spinach
1/2 bunch mint, finely chopped (only the leaves)
1/2 bunch parsley, finely chopped
1/2 bunch dill, finely chopped
400 g feta cheese
4 tablespoon(s) olive oil
3 spring onions, finely chopped
pepper
salt
lemon zest, of 1 lemon
orange juice, of 1 orange
sesame seeds
You can find the herbs (mint, parsley and dill) in all supermarkets but could be cheaper from Nazar or the market.
This event is free of charge and will take place online via Zoom.
