Nutrition workshop: a road map to your health

Eating “healthy” is not easy, especially when you have to combine it with your Ph.D., writing papers, and adapting to a new country or city. In collaboration with the nutritionist counsellor Fabio Aguilar we are organising a nutrition workshop to make this process easier to you. The instructor explains :

‘‘While I was planning on a proposal on how to help you out with your “healthy” diet and still making the workshop approachable for everyone, I noticed something simple and yet very important. For many people, the biggest issue when determining and making effective changes in their diet is falling into the trap of “healthy eating.”

It sounds simple, but in reality, healthy eating has become overly complicated (when it should not). The term has been overused on marketing campaigns trying to sell you a new health trend that promises to cure every ailment you have, but now you have heard and seen this word so much that it has lost its meaning.

As a nutritionist counsellor, I prefer following a more human approach to nutrition focused more on building self-knowledge and healthy skills to achieve your health objectives than traditional dieting methods.

I have created this workshop to help you in the following areas:

• Defining your definition of healthy eating.

• Learning about do and do not of changing habits.

• Representing the first step towards your objectives.

If you want to participate, please feel free to bring a notebook, pen, your preferable beverage, and energy to chat because there is nothing better than a friendly conversation. ‘‘

This online workshop is free of charge and it will take place via Zoom.
