LESS IS MORE: how to prepare images for your publications

unsplash-image-WRrpTw0TcVo.jpg

As PhD students but also later in our career we have to know the basic rules of working with images aimed for publication (in a journal and/or your thesis), conference posters and presentations.

During this workshop you will see how some simple and small changes can substantially increase the readability of your figures and deliver the same information in a more apprehendable way. You will gain technical knowledge with some mysterious terms being explained. Last but not least you are going to get some hands-on experience!

If there is an image that causes you problems and you don't know how to improve it please send it to Lovebird design after you sign up for the workshop! It might be used as a working example during the workshop.

This workshop is free of charge and is going to take place online via zoom.
