Would you like to make a short trip but you don’t know where to go or who to go with? Join Gopher as we visit Wernigerode, the “colorful city in the Harz region” (Hermann Löns), Germany.
We will leave Groningen in the morning of Friday, September 24th . With the bus, we reach Wernigerode around lunch time where we stay for two nights in several vacation homes, all of them located in the same building. During the first day, we will explore the beautiful city of Wernigerode with its famous city hall and castle. On day 2, we will go on a day trip to the Bodetal in Thale, where we can enjoy the beautiful nature from the ground, or with a cabin lift from high above. We will also see the famous Teufelsmauer, a unique rock formation closeby.
Before we drive back to Groningen on day 3, we will visit a stalactite cave which is the oldest show cave in Germany. We will arrive back in Groningen on Sunday evening.
Please note that a health check is mandatory and that we took greatest care in organizing outdoor activities and separate accommodations to reduce infection risk as much as possible.
The participation fee: If you register until 05.09.2021 you will have to pay 150€, after this date you will have to pay 200€.
Make sure to bring cash with you during this weekend trip.

Cancellation policy and reimbursement of participation fee
If you are unable to attend an event (paid or free) you have signed up for, please notify the Gopher board beforehand.
Unless otherwise indicated, canceling your registration and reimbursing your paid participation fee can be done until 24 hours before the start of the event. Please make sure you read carefully the registration/cancellation procedures in the confirmation email for each event sent by us.
