Traditional Chinese Tea Party

  • Glazen zaal, Van Swinderen Huys 19 Oude Boteringestraat Groningen, GR, 9712 GC Netherlands (map)

Either we are coffee or tea people we always appreciate a warm cup of good quality tea during winter or a cold/ice tea during summer.

Tea is a beverage made from the leaves of tea plants and boiled water. Chinese tea has a long history and various species. Tea leaves are processed using traditional Chinese methods. In addition, the tea is consumed throughout the day also during meals, as a substitute for plain water, for well-being purposes or for simple pleasure.

During the tea party, we will introduce the manufacture of Chinese tea, and also taste different kinds including green tea, white tea, black tea, oolong tea and ‘puer’ tea.

There are limited spots for this event, only 15. Join us to have fun with Chinese tea!

This event is free of charge and will take place in Glazen zaal, Van Swinderen Huys.

Please respect the following covid rules:

  • Wash your hands when you arrive and always keep your distance.

  • Don’t come to the studio when you have complains or if a household member has corona.
