LaTeX Workshop

Have you ever wondered whether there is a better way to write texts or manuscripts other than Microsoft Word? The answer is LateX! You may have even heard of some people using LateX to write their manuscripts or even their thesis, but what is LateX and why use LateX at all? And how to get started using LateX?

In this workshop, Thijs Janzen, a scientific programmer from the Faculty of Science and engineering will take you by the hand into the wonderland of LateX. We will explore the pros and cons of Latex and identify scenarios where the use of LateX will simplify your (writing) life.

The aim of the workshop is to be able to make an educated choice on using LateX for your (future) writing projects.
