In 1918, a group of young artists, striving to give the Groningen art life a whirl, established “De Ploeg”. It was destined to become one of the most famous and influential artists’ collectives in the north of the Netherlands.
In 2018, 100 years later, we are going to explore their legacy. We will start with the guided tour of the collection of GRID Graphic Museum and continue with the exhibition at Groningen Museum one week later. On both days, you will have a chance to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee before the tour (we will meet at De Kostery for this one), as well as spend more time at the museum after the tour. You can sign up for both events (and get a discount) or choose only one of them.
Fee: €3 for PhD students, €11 for non-PhD students. With a Museum Card, the event is free for PhD students and €6 for non-PhDs. If you register and pay for this tour, you will also get a €2 discount on the second De Ploeg tour.
