How to keep motivated and stay sane during COVID-19 - Webinar with RUG PhD psychologist Karen Huizing

Although most of us have been working from home for quite a while now, we were never properly prepared to do so. Maybe you found it easy to adapt, and noticed that you were able to focus better on work. Or maybe you were challenged by suddenly having to change your ways of working. Either way, it may have been difficult to keep motivated - as well as stay sane at times - during the lockdown. To that end, the RUG PhD psychologist, Karen Huizing, will host a webinar, in which she will answer all kinds of questions you may have about motivation, wellbeing, and happiness in times of this pandemic.

In her own words, she says: “I will share some of the experiences I have been told by the PhD students I have met during the last months (anonymously of course) and also give some tips on how to keep a healthy work life balance, avoid getting lonely and get back some control over your work if possible.

Mostly, it will be a reassuring webinar! We all experience basically the same problems and there are some practical and psychological smart things to do, to make sure you still enjoy what you are doing. Of course there will also be time to answer questions (you can enter them via the chat during the webinar - there will be a moderator) and share ideas.

After signing up for this event, we will share the Google Meet link with you.

This event is free of charge, and is organized in collaboration with the BCN PhD Council.

It is no longer possible to sign up for this event.
