This is a summer of relaxation, work, and also a being able to move more and further than last year, while still being very careful. Full of memories, emotions, places, events, forms and colors.

How can we give this a pictorial essence, that special feeling of a summer not yet ended, but in the spirit of last days of the pandemic period. Joy, happiness, relief, resilience. Let’s make great art in the tradition of Pierre Bonnard on our Summertime.

This workshop will be with a lot of color, happy compositions and joyful brushstrokes.

You will need the following:

• Acrylic paint

• Different tubes with the colors you want to use

• Canvas board (a size “van Bleisswijck Schildersdoek, 30 x 40 or better 40 x 50)

• Brushes (a flat brush, not a round one, of 1 cm and 2 cm wide)

This event is free of charge and will take place in René de Rooze’s Studio.

Remember to bring all the stuff needed yourself, the studio won’t provide materials.

Please wash your hands when you arrive in the studio always keep your distance. Don’t come to the studio when you have complains or if a household member has corona.

Cancellation policy and reimbursement of participation fee

If you are unable to attend an event (paid or free) you have signed up for, please notify the Gopher board beforehand.

Unless otherwise indicated, canceling your registration and reimbursing your paid participation fee can be done until 24 hours before the start of the event. Please make sure you read carefully the registration/cancellation procedures in the confirmation email for each event sent by us.
